Holiday Wine

A recent article in USA Today online suggests  drinking 2 glasses of wine in the evening to lose weight, explaining the wine contains a substance (resveratrol) which converts white fat into beige fat, which they say is easier to burn off. No mention made as to caloric and carbohydrate content and one gets the impression this is a dietary maneuver to “burn fat” and lose weight. Don’t be fooled!!! If you want the effect of resveratrol as minimal as it would be relative to dosage,go for the berries. You will consume less calories without the effect of alcohol .Cheers!
